Transforming Schools for every student.

Welcome to Project 2027: The year Dorset schools will change. Here, you'll discover the heart of Project 2027; our active campaigns aimed at transforming education in Dorset and influencing the MYP election. We're committed to quality and impactful change. Join us as we strive to create a better future for students. We're glad you're here to be a part of our story.

Our key campaigns for Dorset schools

Project 2027 is actively campaigning on critical issues within Dorset schools, with a strong focus on the MYP election. Our initiatives are designed to bring about meaningful improvements for students and teachers alike.

Fairer discipline & support

Project 2027 focuses on finding alternatives to isolations in schools. Isolation isn’t a solution it treats students like they’re in prison. In a workplace, mistakes aren’t met with hours of silence. Schools should prepare students for real life, not imprison them. I hope to develop an approach with feedback from headteachers, governors, and students that helps reflect, learn, and improve.

Freedom after schools

I want to abolish after-school detentions and reduce homework for Year 7 - 9 . With up to seven hours a day, five days a week, students already have a full schedule. Cutting down on detentions and homework would reduce stress, make learning more enjoyable, and allow students to focus better during the school day.

Empowering breaks & rewards

Im advocating for a school reward system that’s actually fun and motivating for students. I also want to introduce a five-minute break in lessons where students can talk freely at an appropriate level before returning to learning. This approach would make school more enjoyable while reducing disruption, encouraging focus, engagement, and positive behaviour without relying on outdated punishments.

"Any behavior system within a school must advocate 'connection before connection' and be based on safe, connecting relationships."

Influencing key decision-makers

Our campaigns are strategically designed to reach and inspire the Education Secretary, Headteachers, School boards and local MPs. By engaging with these key figures, Project 2027 aims to ensure our proposals for Dorset schools gain the necessary attention and support for real policy change.

Inspiring the next generation of leaders

I’m committed to inspiring the next generation of leaders and showing young people that their voices matter. As part of Project 2027, I’m currently seeking a special advisor who is confident, driven, and ready to help shape strategies and make a real impact.
